Bellarmine is committed to serving those that have and continue to serve us—the veterans, active duty, and reserve members of our military forces, and their dependents. You will benefit from our close-knit and supportive community, low student-to-teacher ratio, accessible student services, and programming tailored for you.

The Office of Military & Veteran Services (OMVS) will aid in the processing, application completion, and advising for all military connected students who are applying for VA Benefits (Post-9/11; VR&E; MGIB Kicker 1606; MGIB-Chapter 30; Dependents' Educational Assistance), State Tuition Assitance, and Federal Tuition Assistance.

We strive to foster a welcoming and positive environment that promotes academic success, personal well-being, and a seamless transition to civilian life, guided by the values of service, respect, and community. Exclusively for Military Dependent Students

Learning Communities are a program designed to impact students by providing a network of support and creating a cohesive curricular and cocurricular learning environment that fosters success in their first year and beyond. Valor Learning Community is specifically designed for Military Dependents attending college for the first time. Growing up in a military-connected family often shapes one’s values, adaptability, and worldview. This Learning Community is designed to help students connect, grow, and thrive academically and personally.

OMVS at Å©·òµ¼º½ strives to provide the most up to date resources for all military connected students. In this section we have provided resources for all military connected students exploring or attending Bellarmine. Here you will find links to downloadable documents to help with scholarship searches, housing, and other critical resources. We have also included VA specific links and links to local Veteran Service Organizations.

Bellarmine offers Army & Air Force ROTC programs through Metroversity. ROTC is an elective curriculum you take along with your required college classes. It prepares you with the tools, training, and experiences that will help you succeed in any competitive environment. Along with great leadership training, ROTC can pay for your college tuition and provide other monetary benefits.

The growing military connected community at Bellarmine offers a wide range of activities to take part in for all students. These include (but are not limited to):

1. Knights of Valor, the registered student organization on campus which a chapter of Student Veterans of America.

2. Military Recognition events with our Division 1 athelitic programs.

3. Welcome Back BBQ in the fall and Welcome Back Donuts in the spring.

4. Warrior Lunches: a monthly event that provides lunch in the dining hall for students and a chance to meet the teams in offices such as study abroad, career services, etc.

5. Annual Veteran's dinner: open to all military connected students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

6. Monthly newsletter with breaking news, activities, and important announcements.

7. Swag and so much more!
