Services

The Bellarmine Math Center is an open and inclusive space for students to receive free tutoring, complete coursework, and build foundational math skills. We have:

  • free drop-in tutoring, as well as availability for appointments outside of these hours,
  • free short-term TI-83/84 calcualtor loans and TI-84 charging cables,
  • a textbook library,
  • three computer stations and a printer,
  • space for study groups,

We are located in the lower-level of Pasteur Hall 004 near the Mathematics offices. The director has a PhD in math and staffs many hours each week, and tutors have comprehensive training and have either succeeded in the course or are mathematics majors or minors.

Drop-in Hours (Fall 2026)

  • Monday: 10am-4pm
  • Tuesday,Thursday, and Friday: 10am-3pm
  • Wednesday: 10am-5pm

To schedule a one-on-one appointment with a tutor, . Note that many tutors have availability outside of Math Center drop-in hours!

What to Expect

When you enter the center, you will need to sign in using your Student ID number (you can find this on your student ID card, so bring that with you!). A tutor or the director will be in the center during all drop-in hours to assist you.

To check out a calculator, you'll fill out a form at one of our computer kiosks, again using your Student ID number. You'll select a return date and bring the calculator back when you are finished.
